Happy Mother's Day

Moms of the world, I hope you're having a great day. I got oatmeal in bed and more hand-crafted cards and gifts than one could ever hope for. I'm so fortunate.

Beebs likes to visit craft blogs with me, so I think that this whip up post is her source of inspiration for this lovely flower. She whipped it up, man. I'm so proud. I especially like the side bud.

On a different note, when Hillary tells you to pin, you had better pin. Being a quilter (though you wouldn't know it from this blog), I'm really into not pinning my work, and I'm accustomed to working with flat objects. Three dimensional softies need pins. Progress is good in this area.
